State Championship is Almost Here!

It's about time I update y'all.  The blog has been a blessing to have because it is where you'll find a more diligent update, I'm sticking to the bigger, quick update kind of things for lack of time.

Simply put:  Team Chazak IS GOING TO STATE!!!!!!

​

This is huge!  And being their last year, it's even bigger!!

​

For all interested in going, the address is located directly below.  If I'm correct, there will be around 40 teams present - which are a lot in case you're unfamiliar :)

​

It will be only elementary and middle school teams to have an added focus on just these divisions.

Business Partnership

Hello business owners!  I would like to take a short time to explain what we, Team Chazak, are offering under the name "Business Partnership".  Team Chazak is looking for sponsors to support them as they pay for robot components and also as they pay the fee to the World's Championships - $850.00 plus food and lodging.  It all adds up in the end and since they are homeschooled, they do NOT recieve any government funding like most other teams in the area. That is why our goal this year is corporate sponsorship.

So, how can you help? First and foremost - ALL donations are gratefully recieved, however, we have designed a plan for businesses which is as follows and we understand this may not be ideal for some which is why we will recieve all donations with grateful hearts! :-)

As for the Business plan, it's easy and we have designed it in a way so that both the team and your business will benefit.  In return for your business donating a minimum of $300 you will have the opportunity to add your logo on our site and our team banner.  Your logo will appear on the contact page and also will have a link to your website installed for imediate transfer to your site.

Should your business decide to  donate $500 you will have 

• your name, logo, and contact information put on our landing page and on our contact page.

• your logo added to our banner, and

• a photo plaque delivered to show your heart toward the community!

All businesses who donate a minimum of $200 will also have their logo added to our team banner.

And a side note; the banner travels to all competitions and various fundraising events so your company is advertized all over North Colorado AND in Kentucky. This is a great opporunity for you to advertize while helping the next generation rise up to lead in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathmatics.

Colorado State Championships

Hello to all Chazak fans! I am very excited to tell you that Team Chazak has qualified at Colorado State Championship which means they are going to VEX IQ Worlds in Kentucky!!!  I will post information about World's when I get it.  Stay up to date by checking here.

Colorado State Championships

Team Chazak has qualified for Colorado State Championships and will be competing on February 27th with multiple other teams which have qualified for State.  These teams will be competing for a place in the VEX IQ World Championships that will be held in Kentucky.  

​

If you are interested in coming to State to cheer the team on you are more than welcome to!  This is a FREE event for all spectators!  It will be held at Loveland High School and will start roughly at 9:00am. The address can be found here.

At State you will also have a chance to watch other levels of VEX such as VRC Middle School and VRC High School.

VEX IQ teams will compete in Team Work, Skills, and Programming.  The event schedule and other information can be found here.

Freddy's Night Out!!

You can't deny that you love a burger and fries!  And how about that shake which comes with it?  Well Team Chazak has set up an entire evening (February 17th) where you can go to Freddy's in Loveland and anything that you purchase,  20% of the pre-tax total will be donated to Team Chazak to pay for competition fees.

So, how about it?  You get to eat at Freddy's AND help Team Chazak! 

Team Chazak will be there from about 4:00pm- 8:00pm (give or take) with their robot!

New Season

It's great to be back typing on the new and improved site!  And before I give any updates I just want to let you all to know that if there is anything that could be changed please shoot us an email at teamchazak974@yahoo.com or fill out the form on the contact page.  It can be a lot of work to keep a website going and your help is very much appreciated!

Now to the updates: Worlds was pretty awesome!  The boys scored 35th world-wide and I think I can safely say on behalf of the whole team that it was AWESOME!  

This year a new game was unvieled which holds the name, Bank Shot.  I am SO excited to see what the boys think up this year because it looks tough!  But I'm sure they will do GREAT!

For anyone who may have tried to donate or would like to, our GoFundMe account should be updated by the end of September (safe estimate).  

You will also realize that there is now a chance for businesses to partner with Team Chazak and in return get their logo/link-to-site on our contact page.  If your business would like to take part in this opportunity you can recieve information by emailing us at teamchazak974@yahoo.com and putting "Business Partnership" in the subject.

Other than that folks it's pretty straight forward; the team is actually meeting tonight to discuss plans for this season and share ideas on the new robot (which they will be building from scratch).
